My name is Yana Mikhaylova, I am a professional artist and a member of the Los Angeles Union of Artists and the Palos Verdes Art Center, as well as the Union of Russian Artists. I received all of my art education in Russia: as a child I graduated from art school, later from an art college as an artist-designer, and then I completed various courses at an art university. I have been dedicated to painting for more than 30 years and have participated in over 100 exhibitions. Today, my works are held in private collections across many countries worldwide.

I now live in California, where I enjoy the beauty of the ocean, the mountains, and the surrounding nature. Recently, I have been painting only with palette knives, creating bright and uplifting works in the impressionist style. My long experience allows me to deeply feel and harmoniously mix colors and shades, capturing the mood and energy of nature. I draw inspiration from travel, flowers, and the joy of life all of which I strive to reflect in every painting.
